About Biosack Dorset

Biosack Dorset was founded in 2005 in recognition of the increasingly important need to provide an easy and effective method of keeping bins clean and hygienic. The composting and recycling of organic matter has a vital role to play in helping to reduce the amount of household waste going to landfill sites and many people are now recognising the benefits of composting. However, the collecting of organic waste can be a messy and unhygienic business.

As part of the Ecosack group, we supply fully biodegradable and compostable paper sacks for kitchen caddies and wheelie bins. Strong, tear resistant and waterproof, they are the perfect way to keep your bins clean and hygienic.

Our sacks are manufactured by Korsnas packaging, a large international organisation. They are made from virgin paper for extra strength, using tree flakes from Scandinavian softwood forests, - a fully sustainable resource. Using virgin rather than recycled paper ensures a strong, high quality and environmentally friendly product which contains nothing to harm the composting process. By using sacks from Biosack you can be sure you are using the best.

Our Aims

  • To provide a prompt, friendly and efficient service.
  • To supply a quality product that comes from resources which are recognised as causing the least impact on the environment.
  • To guarantee only to provide paper sacks which are certified 100% biodegradable and fully compostable.
  • To work with local councils*  up and down the country to ensure that our products are accepted and approved.

* This approval is very important as not all paper products are the same. Our liners are made from virgin materials, not recycled pulp. They are guaranteed to have no contaminants that poison the friendly composting bacteria or contaminate the human food chain. With our paper products you can be sure you are not damaging the composting scheme.
